Hello, I’m Felipe Almeida, a passionate photographer and human behavior researcher (PhD level). I’ve been photographing for more than 10 years now and my work has evolved to be mostly focused on documenting the natural life of our planet and the cultural diversity of our people. My work truly speaks to my life in the sense that it is a constant search for different experiences.
My images have appeared in National Geographic, books, magazines, and more recently in 2017, with the Science Exposed Photo Award, promoted by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada. I currently live in Montreal (Canada) while pursuing my Ph.D. in Human Behavior and Cognition at HEC Montreal, the same University in which I was invited to give a TEDx talk in 2015 about my perception of the relationship between arts and higher education.
